Blake / Iustus,

You recently posted a table of leader declare war values. From that we were able to see which leaders are most trust worthy and which are most likely to stab you in the back and take all your stuff (I can echo the Ragnar is a psycho sentiment).

My question is: is the AI aware of these different leader characteristics?

Follow up question: if so, would there be a way for the AI to be aware of the player's tendencies?

I think this would really ramp up the difficulty if it were possible. Perhaps it is not, perhaps it should not be done at all, maybe the element of surprise is important for some AI warmongers. I however will never be surprised again by Ragnar...

Heh. I was just about to post this question when I noticed this thread. Does the AI have a "threat list" somewhere? A general sense of the tendencies of the other civs? An aggressive civ might be more likely to attack someone it considers a high build rating but a low military threat. That way, they can get new techs and some nicely built cities. A more defensively minded civ would put more troops near a known backstabber when at friendly with the three civs surrounding it. Backstabbing and war declarations would be allowed to decay for relationships, but would stay in the threat rating. "Yeah, I'm cool with him, even though he attacked me before, but I'm keeping that border manned."

Just want to know what sorts of things are in there, and give some suggestions if they aren't.
