Little help please - where the heck are the data files?

This may sound like a strange question, but there are some data files that I can't seem to find. For example, I can find the art files for the Cuirassier, but not for the Conquistador.

In the CIV4ArtDefines_Unit it specifies a path, but I can't find either the path or the files! I searched the entire hard drive, every sub directory of the game, no luck.

Are some of the files hidden or encrypted or something? The game works fine, so I know they must be around somewhere, but its driving me crazy - some unit files I can find, some I can't.

Any help would be appreciated!

They are in the PAK files. You can find them in the Assets folder. There's a tool to unpack them, PAKBuild. Look in the Utilities forum for it IIRC.

Because the project leaders of Civ4 vanilla were smart guys, while those of Warlords and BtS were rather careless? I don't know.

(PAKing graphic files reduces loading time, so I'd have preferred they were all PAKked)

Edit: When playing the Indians, my city should be called ManiaGalore.
