Loading Problem

Whenever I try to run this game it loads normally until it gets to the Game Engine and from that point on the game fails to respond. I have just gotten a graphics card upgrade from ATI RADEON 7000 AGP 64MB to an ATI RADEON 9550 AGP 256MB. But this problem started appearing before the upgrade and it was strange out of the blue.

My system specs are

Intel Pentium 4 @ 1.6GHz
256MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9550 256MB
Windows 98 SE

Besides I have installed the latest patch and also the latest drivers for the graphics card.

Minimum specs call for 2000 or XP. You might be out of luck trying to get it to run on Win 98 with 256 MB of Ram.

The thing was that I was able to run it before and then for some strange reason it stopped and for some time I received a DirectX problem that said it had something to do with my VGA. But that no longer shows up.

Why won't anybody help a guy out? Seriously It's just because I have windows 98 SE you won't help me?

kiw- do not fret. I'm running 98se as well. Although the task manager says (Not responding) when you crtl+alt+del, pay no attention. It takes a very, very long time to get the engine loaded. Be very patient. I'm at the point where I click Play, then go do the dishes. When I hear the monitor pop from changing resolutions, it's time to play.
