Lockup to CTD

I've looked around and I haven't seen anything this specific.

After about an hour of play, the game lockups for about 40 seconds, then I get a crash to desktop. When the desktop comes back up, it has been set to 640x480 and 16 color mode.

I have to reboot at this point. Any ideas?

Same problem here i can usaly get to the industrial age or somthing then after a few turns i get a CTD that takes my video drivers whith it.

Geforce 4800 ti
3.2 intel pentium
1.2 Gb ram
