Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I've been playing Civ 4 for quite a while now. Did a search in this subforum but didn't find any info on this subject, so pardon me if I'm reposting something that's been asked a million times before.
I have technical issue that's quite frankly driving me nuts. My Logitech G15 keyboard's LCD display is used by the game, which is nice - but it has side effects that I'm not so fond of.
You see, after playing Civ 4 from patch 1.7x (1.72? not sure, something like that.) - and currently on patch 3.19, the programs that came with my keyboard drivers have gone missing.
And, being a creature of habit, I've used that display for showing the time, date, what song I'm playing etc. while running full screen apps, such as games.
So, my question is whether it's a known problem that Civ 4 somehow messes up the default Logitech software and is there a simple solution to this?
Removing and installing the latest Logitech driver temporarily fixes the issue, but the process takes 2 reboots and to be frank, I'm getting sick of it.
I mean, I really like Civilization, but it's annoying that I have to reinstall my keyboard drivers every time I've played.
