Logitech Precison Gampad USB problem

I recently aquired the Logitech precision gamepad and when I plug it in,windows(XP) searches for drivers but cannot find them(including Internet search).This is pissing me off because my mom's computer who also has Win XP,finds the drivers and install them in a couple of seconds within pluging it in.

I tried the logitech driver from their site but they didnt work.Help!

Find the driver your mom's PC uses, and copy that over.

I tried that but I failed miserably.Any tips how?Anyway the driver was installed within seconds when I plugged it in without a window or anything so I cant tell.

Start>Run
Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter
He will probably be under the "Human Interface Devices" category
Double click when you find it
Go to the "Driver" tab in the window that pops up

Tried it,searched every category to be sure,but to no avail.Anyone else or can I stick the gamepad in the garage?

.... If the gamepad is working on the comp, and the gamepad is plugged into the comp, then it's going to listed there.
