Hello,
We've just started a new PitBoss game and to our dismay one of our players looks like he's going to have to cancel on us. We're looking for someone to take over for him. We're on turn 2, so it's not like much has happened yet. Below are the game details. The leader/nation you would be taking over is Roosevelt of the Americans.

map: archipelego
victory: conquest/domination/cultural
speed: quick
timer: 24 hours
no teams
There are six players total (including you). Two are veteran Civ players. Two are beginners. One has never played before. It's best if I mention now that we all know each other.
We're looking for someone who is pretty comfortable with Civ 4 to keep something of a balance between experienced and novice players. We also require someone who is willing to see the game through to the end. None of us would be entirely surprised if this game lasted upwords of 7-8 months or so, although we'd like to see it go quicker than that.
We've got a private forum set up so everyone can talk to each other when we're not in the game.
Reply here in this thread if you're interested. Include your email address if yr comfortable with that. If not, request a PM. When you reply, please include some sort of estimated skill level. We'll get back to whoever we choose in the next day or so with login information and a link to our forums.
I probably missed a bunch of stuff so feel free to ask questions and all that. I'll monitor the thread frequently.
