Looking for turn length modification

Hi!

I've been looking quite a while for a mod (as detailed in topic) with no success, however, I can't be sure of if this is because I'm searching for the wrong keywords, or if it simply doesn't exist.

What I'm looking for is a simple mod to remove the diminishing "temporal" aspect of the turn length. Ie. I wan't all game turns to represent a single year in-game, meaning that the ancient times will take an incredibly long time to play through.

This would also need some balancing for all completion times (early technologies would require incredible amounts of bottles to last those thousands of turns of early gameplay :)

Many mods change how the time progresses, i.e. such ones that focus on a specific era. I dont think however, that there is a mod doing exactly waht you want - making a game 6000 turns long :crazyeye: ... But you could try to do it yourself.

Civ4GamespeedInfo.xml has the definitions of time / turn progression for different game speeds, and there are also tags to adjust tech, unit, build, ... cost (tho you will probably achieve better results by finetuning technology cost by hand on per-tech or per-era basis via TechnologyInfos.xml)
