Hi, is anyone interested in a PBEM Conquests game? I haven't played PBEM before but I'm interested in the idea of being able to do just a round or two a day, and play out a long game with one or more people.

I just started a couple of weeks ago with CIV3/Conquests and am trying to start some PBEM 1-2 turns a day also.
What version have you got? I have 1.15 patch installed right now.
I enjoy playing an epic game with the small earth map or try one of the scenarios, but then we'll need many more players.

Just copy your Civ3/ Conquests folder then rename the copy Conquests 1.15, then apply the patch on your main Conquest folder.

Just the Conquest folder inside the Civ3 folder. Sorry my wording was half-directory so probably not very clear...

Do we all want to play a game? What's everyone's preferences?
Mine is the following: Standard map, old planet, 9 players total (ie 8 opponents either comp/human), and in the middle setting for all the pangaea/landmass/etc. AI at normal aggression, victory by spaceship, domination, conquest, or culture. But I'm amenable to changes.
So if you're interested post an email addy and any settings you'd like to see. Unfortunately I'm going to the cottage tommorow for a week, but when I get back will check this thread and set up a game to include everyone who has posted an email addy.
We might also want to "convene" at some point on IRC or something so we can run through a bunch of turns in fairly quick succession, so I'd be obliged if anyone who is interested could also post their timezone. I'm EST, that is GMT -5.

Thanks for your message. I am now engaged in 5 different PBEM so am unable to start any new ones, but I'm sure that if you look around this forum you will find wiling players.
