looooooong load times

sorry if this has allready come up.

whenever i load a saved game it takes for ever. some times like 5 minutes. and when im playing then game and then try to load a diferent saved game it just wont go.

the game is also sometimes jumpy but not too bad.

anyone know why this could be happaning?

How much RAM do you have? The more RAM the faster loading will be.

512 mb, but it feals like i have 256

I have 512M too and it does load slow (although not as slow as 5 min).

Another thing extremely slow for me is ctrl-T. The hard drive swaps crazily when I try this and it takes 2 minutes or so to finish.

512 is low now, sorry guys, for gaming i would recommend atleast a gig. also, same old stuff, free space? defraged? what drive is your pagefile on (keep it off the windows drive, and the game drive if possible)
thats all i can think of, the game does load slow, but not 5 mins slow
