Is there anyone that has this game?

If so, would anyone be interested in sharing strategy, tips, etc.?

Haven't played it in a long time (so please forgive any inaccuracies) but ...

The AI is basically stupid. You can usually position your siege weapons and archers such that the AI either can't or simply won't touch them. At that point, it's not contest. If that gets boring (did for me) then you can always knock down the gate and use your knights to just run for the flag.

Fighting in the field is a little more challenging, but what I find works best is to place your archers out of range, then send a single archer inching ever closer to the enemy. At the first sign of movement, have him run back to the rest of your archers. More often then not, the enemy will turn and retreat once they start getting hit. Repeat ad naseum until boredom sets in.

Yep. That's the way to go if you want to win all the time. The only challenge I had was when I got the black death in my home county the first few turns. But I still liked the game, let's hope LOTR3 will be as fun with some AI improvements.

my general rule the army has thre kind of force
1 .archer
2 .slow unit (pikeman and swordman ,farmer )
3 .fast unit ( knight and mace)

the slow defend the archer
the fast kill the archer of enemy

I move slowly in the beginig when my archer are protected with slow unit and the fast unit beside then move the fast to kill enemy archer nad finish the rest with slow and archer normaly have one archer to atract unit to slow unit

Siege
1 very big force
a lot of archer an slow unit
some fast unit when I can move in I move one fast unit to neutrilize hot OIL somtime another one
the fight is between archer when the slow unit serve as wall to protect the archer

economic
in the begining try simple army not Foraging an use a lot of wheat and few cow
wheat give more food with less land and less farmer so you have more person to colect wood stone and ore(iron) and make weapon .
hire mercenary if you have the money tax 5-7%
buy cheap weapon in the beginig
make pike mace and bow where you have only wood

first battle 300 men with arm

protect city only when somebody is close
put only archer in fort and use them and oil to defend

Fun concept for a game.

Successfully combined civ aspects with RTS strategy. Unfortunately other games didn't pick up on the concept.

Of course the AI was woefully inept and was the game's major drawback. Yet it was overall fun.
