This is a stupid idea, imo.

First of all the original movie (Unbreakable) wasn't about superhero universes. Secondly, it is hardly a universe when there is just one new "superhero". Thirdly... in what way was Mr. Glass' "supepower" an "extremely high iq"? This wasn't at all in the original movie; he caused the train accident cause he wanted to see if there is anyone who is his exact antithesis (unbreakable).

And another thing: WTH is Mr. Glass still alive? He has a bone disease and should have been dead decades ago :)

Has that dude ever made a half decent film apart from the 6th Sense?

Haven't you seen The Happening? It's a side cracking comedy by mr Shyamalan.

that movie was horrible, ugh

I'm watching Wayward Pines, a collab between Shyamalan and the Duffet Brothers. It's bad, but somehow still captivating.

Signs and The Village could be called half decent.
I also thought for a long time that The Others was a really good Shyamalan movie, but then found out it's not a Shyamalan movie at all. It just had a good twist.

Wayward pines is interesting until the reveal and then becomes barely good enough to keep watching until the end of season 1.

When I heard they were making a sequel to Unbreakable I thought it had to be the dumbest idea ever.

I'd rather rewatch The Prisoner. The village there makes a sort of sense.

It would be a great twist if Shyamalan did a film with no twist at all. Everything unfolds exactly as expected from the first minute.

I'd prefer he do a parody film called "The Twisty Twist" where he would come up with the most ridiculous twists he can think of and make fun of his previous films.
