magnus chop in GS

hello, so i started playing gs today, and this thing happened.
i had a city with magnus, and 50% production for settler policy card in use. magnus was already established.
i choped a forest, it said 45 production for this chop. so thats means 45+ 45*0.5 for magnus + 45*0.5 from the policy. i got 67, is magnus changed in gs or is it just me?

Have a look at this thread for change, a touch more complicated than it should be.
Is chopping overflow overcorrected?
To answer your question ... the 45 is the tree + Magnus.... the 67 is then when the policy card is applied.
The chop has changed to stop you overflowing that 67 to something that would not get the policy card but they have done it oddly.
