Hey,
I know that there are already a couple of threads about changing the background of the main menu, but my problem seems so be kind of a special one and I couldn't find any answers yet.
The main issue is an error, that occurs, when the mod is almost finished with loading and the game shouldt be started:
(CIV IV: Warlords: Civ4Warlords.exe - Application Error)
The instruction at "0x00993487" referenced memory at "0x0000002c". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.
The first thing I really couldn't understand at all was the fact, that when I delated the .nif data in the Civilization IV\Warlords\Mods\NameOfTheMod\Assets\Art\Interface\Main Menu directory, the error vanished and the Mod was started normaly... but with the default background from warlords.
The data of my self-made background can't be the problem. I did test it through editing the Chinese-Mod and it did work fine.
I assume, that I need to edit something in the XML-Files (I just copied them from Civilization IV\Warlords\Assets), to get it right, and so I looked through other Mods, which already have different backgrounds. But I just couldn't figure out, where that should be.
So now, after hours of getting more and more confuse by trying to get that crap work... does somebody have an idea?
I don't have a clou what else I could do and I would be grateful for any help
