Today, I tried to continue my CCM (a mod) game as Scandinavia. However, when I tried to open my save file, this error message popped up:
The same pop-up occurred when I tried to use the autosaves, except with the autosaves' appropriate filenames. So, no big deal, I try to start a new game, but when I do any action that requires Civ3 to read a .biq, .bix, or .bic file, I get this error message:
Examples of where this occurs are at the Civ Content menu and at the New Game selection (that uses the standard Conquests.biq, I think that's why).
Ugh. Looks like I'll have to reinstall Civ. But I can't even uninstall Civ! When I start the uninstaller, the wizard loads for a few seconds, then comes up with these error messages in turn:
What can I do? I am running Windows 7. Help either fixing Civ or any methods of uninstalling Civ without using the uninstaller program would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
