Making 1 picture flc files

I think I have nearly all the bugs worked out for a Civ III mod, but I
can't afford Poser and I can't seem to make flc files that work without it.
I did manage to get pcx images into Gimp 2.4, and from there saved them as
flc files, but my game won't accept them. What am I doing wrong? Is there
a way around the problem?

This conversation probably belongs in creation customizations forum. I'm sure a mod will move it soon.

That being said do you have flicster? You can find this great little program in the downloads section here at CFC. Look under utility files. You should then be able to open that .flc file you made.
