I was wondering if anyone has encountered a (good) map making tutorial (here on civfanatics) for making map art for custom civilizations? I have looked in the 'Tutorials' subforum, though sadly I could not find one there.

So if someone knows of such a tutorial, or has even followed such a tutorial, would he/she be so generous to share it with me in this thread? :)

Thanks in advance!

Thank you kind sir. I will share the result here if the result does not look like some monkey shat all over the screen seriously awful :D

As promised, here is the semi-final result (with WIP versions included!). (Made using GIMP)

EDIT: Ignore the random 'La' in the middle of the map, I forgot to hide it when exporting :crazyeye:

I must say that this turned out way better than expected, and I'm honestly really satisfied with this being my first try!
Kudos to Sukritact's amazing Tutorial!

I'll refine the result a bit more, after which I can call it completely done.

EDIT: The refined result (map colours were changed so the focus lies more on 'current Monaco' rather than on the Annexed part only)

It's still nowhere near Sukritact's level, but you gotta start somewhere right? :D
