This is a map designed primarily for Domination or Conquest play with 8 players.

There are 8 roughly equal areas of the map, where players are started. Each area has one of each strategic resource somwhere in it. Each area also has 7 of the 8 Luxury resources, plus one extra of one of the seven. The central area is all Jungle and nothing else... except it is also the only way to get to other Civs! All the land (except the center) is surrounded by mountains, so a city cannot be built on the water until you reach the center of the map. By that time, boats are useless.... so that means this is primarily a land battle.

This map tests your building strategies, as the only battles you're likely to fight in the early game is with Barbarians. If you love massive battles, then this is your map!

Patch,

I downloaded your map and in the center i cleared the jungle and made a "lost civ" 9th civ there.. i put in identicle resources then the other 8 and put it on diety.

Talk about insanity.. the 8 choke points are on mountains.. I made a fortress there and planted units early.. the other 8 civs go insanely nuts because they can't physically contact eachother.
It turns into a huge air fight all 8 civs attacking me.

I opened the 8 choke points up and piled tons of units into my cities and on resources around them, then watched hundreds of units from 8 civs crash into eachother in the center haha. Was insane. Very entertaining.

Anyway, i knew i was going to lose.. so i unloaded 50 nukes before they AI wiped me out.

Have noticed that the AI cheats if it is denied contact with other civ's, all 8 AI civs seem to work together on technology, they developed tech 100 - 500 years earlier but had zero physical contact with eachother for 5000 years.. very interesting.
