Names for rivers:

Giru River Near Giruvegan and Veda River near Arete

I like the Veda River for the river near Arete. I like this slight change: Instead of Babylon River, call it Babylonia River. I think it sounds better and is less, well, boring. Also, someone (I forget who, sorry) proposed a name for the forest that we originally came from.

Oh, don't forget the Paradise Hills!

And just nitpicking, it should be Northern Wastes, not Northern Wasters

I would like to name the babylon river the river Ur. I know it cross civs but I like the sound

Ur is proposed :) If you make those maps you offered (last stone-age map prior to writing and then a new one as soon as Spain is fully mapped in parchment style based on us having writing), you get your will through.

This is how the faction system works, players that contribute to the world are rewarded with property, legacies, and power.

I finished thew stone age one this morning on the train to work. I will scan it in when i can today and post it.

I as many map writers have done in the past I will make errors and make up stuff that will become reality for centuries to come.

I plan to make a map after the next turn session. If I have time I may make a primitive Parchement style map of Babylon and the frozen north.

Excellent sir Blastoid, consider the River Ur named, thanks to your explorations in the desert plus your posting of stone age map.

Please don't name the river to a city. It would not be very original.

Not that I know any names to call the river...

Following JapanoGreco naming conventions as well as English concept naming for simplicity, Ur does not fit. However, bridging Blastoids wish with the core naming convention, we could name it River Giru, in line with where New Giruvegan springs out, thus placing both Japanocreco naming convention as well as our city history in one place, as well as being close to Ur.

giru sounds good to me, though the Babylonians will likely having a different name for it, as it has been a focal point of there Civ sense the beggining

the color coast has clams not crabs

Maybe "Invirginia" sounds attractive enough, to make people settle there.
