March 14th Update

because in civ/ptw it is emp=5 deity=6,
and in C3C it is emp=5 , demigod=6, deity=7.

If we would multiply then emperor downward would be all wrong.
Now we only have a slight change in 1 category only.

I'm sure Aeson would consider changing the structure if it proved over the course of several games to be unfair, but for now it strikes me as a good way to do it. The delays in communication/map trading really hurt now when pangaea players could use that as a breakthrough cash wise or establish tech dominance. And they really hammered Republic...

I don't know. We'll just have to see how it goes with scores that get placed.

Actually, I may have said it a bit unclear. I meant just recalculating the 'old' deity scores. The emperor and other level scores are compattible with C3C, so why change them?

@Superslug: I'm actually not having much troubles with republic (OK, it's only chieftain level  ), I find the changes FP effects much more difficult to deal with...

Darkness, multiplying civ/PTW deity by 7/6 may just be a more correct solution.
However, it will not be the real score of the game.. which will cause much confusion.

In any case, it is not for me to decide which direction to choose.

And we have SirPleb using Monarchy on Sid!

@SirPleb: I hope it does you good. I'm very interested in seeing a milked Sid game complete, just to have some vague idea what it will mean scorewise.

@Darkness: You're right about the FP changes being a bugger. Not being able to set up a second productive core is really really killing me...
