Master of Orion - Sound problem

I got the game running fine on DosBox, using D-Fend, but I can't get the sound running. I used the Install.exe, but it just doesn't work.

Any idea?

The sound can be configured via the Install exe using the Reconfigure option. You need to select the Sound Blaster original, iirc and set the proper irq and such.

It does not seem to matter in XP, but Win98 it does.

What do you mean with "proper irq"?
