I dont know but maybe trenches that connect fotresses would be nice .. i could give a 50% defense bonus or something and add more to the early industrial age.. like whn world war one happened

yes but this could bring more options to it. you could have fortresses and connect them to each other . it also could hampertanks blitz abilitys like they did in ww1 by slowing them down

maybe it could follow the same grafic system as the fortesses. like in the ancint age it could be a stone wall and then in the industrial age be trenches and fially be sand bags in the modern age.... and suggestions???

Tanks' blitz in ww1 was not really affected by trenches. ww1 tanks were designed to be close infantry support mobile forts, not assault and break-through cavalry. As such, their top speed was designed to be compatible with infantry. A healthy unburdened adult could outrun most ww1 tanks.

That, and ww1 had horrendous reliability problems on both sides.

Trenches would be infered by a fortified unit. By fortifying, it means the you have "dug in."
I get where your going but this would bring more depth into it and bring more stragitgy(i know its spelt wrong) to it.
