I have two different .txt files and they both have two colums of words I want to merge them and put them next to each other in a third .txt fule. exel maybe good for the job. I want to put the content of one file into one of the exel's columns and the other in the next column and then convert the exel file in .txt format. Is that possible?

What you could do is import the files seperately into seperate spread sheets then copy and paste into a third. (or link)
