I got the game last week (on my birthday :)) and have been very slowly progressing through the game since. I've just beaten the first big boss (equivalent of Flagharaa from the first Metroid Prime) and gotten the dark suit.

The game feels just as awesome as the first so far, and probably it's only going to get better. It's also definitely a lot more difficult from this point on, I think. Those annoying pirates with jet-packs are appearing everywhere in the light world, and those annoying warrior ing are appearing everywhere in the dark world. I'm having mixed thoughts on the addition of having limited ammo for the dark and light beams. On one hand, I can't just randomly fire those beams everywhere like I did with the wave and plasma back in Prime. Although it does mean the power beam has a use now, and I'm using missiles a ton more than I did before.

Multiplayer is fun. Not spectacular, but it's fun, especially with four players. The stages are fairly well designed, and somehow the lock-on system doesn't ruin things too much. I think missiles and super missiles are a bit overpowered though, and the "hacker mode" is pretty useless, although amusing.

Oh, and Dark Suit Samus looks AWESOME :)
