MGE Succession game #2, now recruiting

I think you're putting too much emphasis on the competitive aspect of the game, Tim. I don't care how good or how bad anyone is, as long as it's fun. Besides, every great empire has had it's good and bad rulers and mostly the worst rulers thought they were the best.
Anyways: we've got two more places, so if you want to be in: SUBSCRIBE NOW. It won't be long until we'll start the game. Maybe it's even already created. Willem?

People for the classic version are eager to start. I say we start at April 1st. We play the Germans, 7 oposing forces, large map, small land mass, archipelago, 5 billion years. I just created the map, but didn't start yet. If not all the slots are filled on April 1st, we start anyway, those will be filled soon enough.

As for the MGE succession gamers: I'll post a new thread when I get the game where everybody who played the game can place his/(her?) story about their reign of our glorious future empire.

Well......now.....who builds 10 cities and doesn't actually defend them?

Who's idea was that?

You realized that barbs came and took some cities on my first turn....and I had no units to stop them!!!

Also we are on an island and no one got Map Making!!! GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not pleased with this game so far. The VERY poorly placed cities. <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/shakehead_ron.gif" border=0> I'm only on my 9th turn so it could turn around...but I'm not optimistic.

Well...on the 12th turn I was able to take back the barb cities.....hopefully I'll be able to launch the ship from Hannover with those 2 units before my reign expires.

Well....I finished my reign. I did launch the ship.....Started researching Litarcy <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0> Needs a lot of expansion by sea though. I've built roads to almost all the cities and improved some of the land. Also have defence in the cities now!!!!

I'm still mad over what happened to MGE 1#. We were kicking ass in that game.

Anyway, I founded two new cities, discovered philosphy first so got trade for free, currently researching Republic. The Indians landed in an area I wanted to settle, but they attacked first. I don't know where they are from.

Anyway, game has been sent to Tim.

P.S. Can we try to restart MGE 1. We were kicking ass, I destroyed two Civ's during my turn.

Pedro: I copied you on the e-mail with the file because das has been MIA on our other succession game for the better part of a week. His profile says he hasn't posted since 4/29, so I fear he may have left us. I figured you started this game, so I'd let you decide when to move on, since you would be next in line anyway.
