Well, there seem to be a new kind of entertainment now, called michinima (in Japanese). It simply consists in using current games 3D engine (e.g. Quake 3, UT, engines...) tu make a short cinematic movie. One of the most impressive I've seen is called Sidrial and its authors used the Quake 3 engine (surprise, surprise
