Okay...I said...time to die governer...I am managing my cities! At any rate...this is my question. On the first advisor which I believe is the domestic advisor...at the top of the screen across from income is -852: Science with -0: Entertainment below it. What do the '-' mean? I am guessing negative? But how can that be? I even tested it a lil. For example...I reloaded the game...it was -852...then turned all my entertainers and whatnot into scientists...let a turn pass...-856...then later -860...then I moved all citizens into entertainers and turned them into scientists just for grins and then it became like -875. What gives? Is negative in this situation good in the sense that lets say a tech is 1000 sci beakers and I am bringing myself 875 closer as an example? Could someone please explain this to me? I turned everyone in the cities into scientists for grins and I managed to shave a 3 turn space flight to 1 turn space flight. I am just curious about this. Does difficulty factor in? If so, explain a lil?

Oh yeah just for bragging rights...I got 5 SGL's back to back in this game. Then later 3 back to back. Has this ever happened to anyone? I never have used increased science output. Can someone describe to me what precisely it does for me besides increased science beakers or whatnot? Is it even worth it? If I put 5 SGL's into it will the science output stack? If not in same city will the effect stack from different cities?

I know I'm going to cross post with someone, but whatever.

I have no idea how your income can read as a negative number. Are you sure you aren't looking under net gain (gold per turn)?

Age of Science does nothing. Nothing. At. All. Just rush wonders with the SGLs. And 8 SGLs in one game sounds just a little bit crazy to me.

You can only have negative income on Chieftain. So, yes, level does factor into it.

Crimso's right, Age of Science is bugged and doesn't work. It'll look like it's working, but it doesn't.

I should have said across from income to the right. That is my mistake. Yes, I could have worded it in a much better context. However, taken like the following: (top of the screen across from income is -852: Science with -0: Entertainment below it.

Age of Science? Huh? This isn't income. This is science! How can science be income? Did you guys totally misread my post or am I missing something???
You raised two separate issues in your first and second post. It looked to me like one was about your apparent negative income, and the other was about using your scientific great leaders to create an age of science in a city. You might want to reread your own posts before deciding that others are misreading you!

To answer the age of science question, as was noted above, this feature is sadly broken by an evil bug. You are wasting your scientific great leaders if you use them for anything other than wonder-rushing.

To address your apparent negative-income question, since folks are having trouble understanding what you mean I recommend posting a screenshot of your domestic advisor screen. That might help you get better answers.

My friend already answered the question for me. He had no problems understanding what I was getting at whatsoever but ok. Although my grammar could definately use work. I won't deny that :)
