I have 33 pieces of artillary parked at an airstrip and the Miltary Advisor only counts 7. All others seem to cont fine, planes and other units.

As anyone notice this before.

Give us a pic of the airstrip, maybe you will convince us then.

The Mil. Adv. doesn't count captured artillery pieces, just like
he doesn't count captured workers.Altough all the captured
units are visible at the end of the units list.Use the slider to see
the captured units.

Your right, I didn't realize that he didn't count captured units, I have being using them as my own. Been playing all these years and never paid attention, learn something new every day.

This tends to indicate you have cannon of someo ther civs out in the map.
Or that you have upgraded the last of your cannons in the current turn.

the military advisor doesn't count any captured units. if the only unit(s) are captured (ie. you captured 5 cannons but never built any), the unit still appears in the advisors list. Since you have no cannons of your own, he counts 0 because of the captured cannons

Sometimes it shows a unit that you're about to build, even when you don't have it on the map yet. (I've seen this on occasion)

They retain their nationality the whole game. I have cats that become cannons and then arty and stay as that civs.

I've noticed that before, the good point is that unlike the slaves, captured artillery doesn't cost any upkeep, even if they are as much efficient as regular artillery...

Captured workers are sooo slow ! (I must capture more ! ;-) )

Slaves dont cost upkeep either.. nor does foreign settlers or enslaved privateers/Men of War
