Alright, I haven't posted in any Civ game forum in.....a long time. But this is something that I've been wondering ever since I've been looking at the minimap in Civ 3.
What about an option that would clear the white squares that show cities, but just leave the civ's colors and borders on the map?
It's a minor tweak, I'll admit. And it should be an option, like switching from the political map to the terrain map. But I would like to gague about how large a civ is compared to my own with just a glance on the world minimap, rather than scrolling around and trying to guess. Obviously, since all the city dots are white, it can become hard to tell who is who, especially on a huge map that is littered with cities.
This isn't a monumental change, but something I'd like to see at least. Any thoughts?
