Minor graphical issues that I'd like to see fixed + suggestions

1. More diverse terrain! This is 4X game and one of that X is Explore. I would love to see a different desert with cactuses, plains with baobabs, denser woods not only with spruces but different trees. I would love to have this feeling of exploring distant and different continents. I am aware of game UX and graphical communication issues but still, the world as we see it in the game is way oversimplified. More Natural wonders.
2. City centers after the Industrial era. They all look the same. In previous eras, we have diversified architecture styles. It should remain diversified in the modern era.
3. If I play as China I should feel like I play China. Fams, suburbs, even districts should look like they are Chinese. More graphical identity is important because of course, it is a strategy game, but with RP elements, and the fact you feel like a ruler of the specific Civilization is a part of this game.
4. More graphics for Technologies, Civics, Policies. The technology tree in humankind looks amazing https://i2.wp.com/www.portallos.com...Humankind-Technologies.jpg?fit=1200,675&ssl=1

We're unlikely to see any of these things until Civ7, but I am 100% behind all of them.

Yeah it kills me how everything looks the same at some point. I’d love to see the art team exercise some creativity with making “neo” architectural styles to show like how an ancient Babylonian building might be adapted to the modern era, for example (This concept is executed beautifully in Leugi’s City Styles mod - he has a wonderful “Neo Andean” building set)

Personally, I'd like to see some more proper collision detection on the leaders' animations. Stuff to keep Gorgo's arm phasing through her cloak when she tosses her spear in disgust, or something to keep Menelik's hand from disappearing inside his waist when he's scratching his chin. Personally, the one that bugs me the most is Philip's weird arm reset after he dinks his sword against the ground; you'd think that would be something they'd have noticed sooner.

They don't need to be remade, but they could benefit from an art pass, sure. Lady Six Sky could be given new animations (and a new voice actor :shifty: ), and Ba Trieu could use some detailing even though the model is overall nice.
What's wrong with the voice actress? Admittedly, I don't know much Mayan, though I don't know of any people who do.
I do like the Ba Trieu seemed to get unique (rather cool) animations, though I do wonder why they didn't do it for all of them, aside from maybe saving time/money. I'd be interested to see what they could do to make them unique, but it ultimately doesn't ruin my experience if they never make them unique.

Victoria's a bad offender in this regard; her sash clips through her arm in quite a few of her animations.

For one thing her pronunciation is off (she doesn't pronounce the ejective consonants and pronounces the implosive like a plain voiced plosive). Her flat delivery is also a clue that she's not comfortable in the language she's speaking in (though one doesn't have to be a native speaker to have good delivery). This was confirmed when she was identified as a famous (non-Maya) Mexican voice actress. Seems pretty baffling, too, when it should have been very possible to find a Maya-speaking VA.
