I just wanted to play a LAN game at home with a friend or family member like I used to with Civilization IV. Obviously, each machine has to be logged into a *different* Steam account, which requires me to create an alternate Steam account (which they try and encourage you not to do) and have each machine logged into a different one.
Each account obviously needs its own copy of Civ V too, which is not a huge deal for me. Just an inconvenience.
It would nice if they just had some sort of family friendly option like iTunes where I can either share purchases or at least not have to create a FAKE account to make another purchase.
