So I have the whole week off right now and I my favorite free online role playing game goes kaputt on me

I hate when that happens because free time is so hard to come by these days. I know there are other things I can do while on holiday but this was one of the things I was looking forward to doing. This is precisely why I hate new years, every year without fail this time of year something goes bad for me. Anyway new years suxxors.

So how many here would buy an extended warranty for their new gaming console. I'd like to know the reasons why or why not for buying the extended warranty before I go out to buy a system. Sorry for the above rant but I had to get that off my chest in the hopes that fellow gamers can relate to my pain! ;)

Cons (this is about the extended warrenty sold by Futureshop):

- It's often a hassle tocollect the warrenty
- It's sold by Futureshop so you have to deal with them, and is not sold by the manufacturer.
- There is pressure on the salespeople to sell them
- They will try to get out of paying to you (You must have dropepd it then, that's not covered).

This may not be 100% of all cases, but it's not uncommon.
