I am not entirely sure if this is a bug or intended, but I can't find any information to answer my question either. Missile cruisers don't seem capable of carrying guided missiles, which seems a little silly. I play alot of "no nukes" games, so it really makes both guided missiles and missile cruisers pretty useless to me.

I can't load guided missiles onto missile cruiser either. I use the 'rebase' command just like you do when you move missiles to a different city. This is in BtS... a bug?

OK, I at first thought there was a problem here as well, until I realised a crucial thing. Guided missles have zero movement. You therefore can't load them into a crusier by parking in next to a city and moving the missle onto it, as you are used to with troops, and the rebase command is something completely different, being for aircraft. You have to move the missle cruiser into the city containing the missles, and then you can load the missles using the load button, as you would to load troops onto a ship in the city.

Thank you, very helpful. Of course now my cruiser are on the other side of the planet... but next time they'll be ready!

You can build missiles first in a different city. You can rebase missiles via the rebase command, from one city to another. But to load, you indeed need your sub/cruiser in the city where the missiles are.

Which is entirely realistic when you think about it. Imagine in real life rebasing missiles to a ship at sea. Fire them towards the ship and hope they have a big net...

Though it'd be cool to a have a supply tender of some sort that could carry reloads for the missile cruiser.

Dont forget you can rebase the missiles to any city that you have openboarders with. So even halfway round the planet isnt too far, if you have some friends ;)

It is odd that rebase is available to move them between cities but not between carriers. I wonder what brings that change about...(in data)?

It seems to me like it should be one or the other. All rebase, or no rebase. I'm thinking none; CloudedSun makes a good point. You could always Airlift them, which seems more realistic anyway...

I agree -- airlift, not rebase should be the command. I also don't see anything wrong with tactical nukes or guided missiles to have, say, one movement point, to indicate that they could be positioned on the battlefield (or moved via road/rail).
