Missing conquests file

Whenever i download a patch or something a message comes up saying im missing an inl dnll or something like that. also whenever i go to the foreign advisor the game shutsdown and goes back to the desktop. is there any way to fix that problem?

Try a reinstall of Vanilla Civ3 (regular Civ3), then PTW if you have it, then C3C.
