This weekend, I was creating my first scenario mod (using the Napoleonic Europe map & the WWII in the pacific for my techs) and decided to try it out today. The only thing is that when I try to start it up, I get a message saying "Missing entry in "Scenarios/../conquests/WWII in Europe/text/PediaIcons.txt":ICON_"
I've got no idea what I'm doing, so can someone help me out? I've got the PediaIcons attached with this.

I would say that you haven't listed the WWII pacific file in the scenario search file. Open the editor click scenario tab>scenario properties in the window that says scenario search folders add this ..\conquests\WWII in the Pacific

Make sure that all entries under Civlopedia enetry is correct. If you do all that and STILL can't fix it then send me the .biq and pediaicons and I'll take a look.

"Missing entry in "Scenarios/../conquests/WWII in Europe/text/PediaIcons.txt":ICON_"

That's not a search path problem, otherwise the name of the icon would be there. Apparently you have added something (unit, recource, tech, could be anything) to the biq without assigning it a pedia entry. Most of the rules pages have a text box labeled "Civilopedia Entry:". Whenever you add anything, you have to give it a pedia entry. Look at other items on the same page. Each type of item has a different code- PRTO for units, GOOD for resources, etc. The pedia entry name should be this code followed by the name of the item. For example, if you add a Panzer unit, the pedia entry box should read "PRTO_Panzer". Then you have to add entries in civilopedia.txt and pediaicons.txt with the same tag. Just copy some other entries and change the name to match whatever you added. If you have pedia icons for it, you can change the file name in pediaicons.txt so that the icon will be shown instead of whatever you copied.

I hope that helps. :)

thanks, I'm almost certain that that is it. is there any way to create my own civolpedia entry though?
