I have had BTS on this computer for about 2 years. Over the years, I have had lots of saved games, and while trying to clean up the computer in preparation for a newer one, I decided to clean up the saves only to a few "good" games I found interesting.
So I decided to go game by game, and play them, and delete the ones I found to be boring, or uninteresting (generally keeping those with multiple massive barbarian invasions, or where there is a weak neighbor nearby).
While in that process, I went to go to do another batch, and now my game does this when loading:
I am in general, missing units and city info. Music is fine, everything else is fine.
I have done this before....now it won't do it.
One bit of important information. My video card on this laptop is failing. I have vertical lines of various colors on my screen, hence what caused me to hasten my new computer purchase. It started with a light blue vertical one near the center, now I have a yellow one 1/3 from the left, and a pink one far to the right. When I start up the computer, there are easily a dozen that, over use, will disappear.....
