Missing text in diplomacy - [FIXED] with reinstalling

For some reason the text in the diplomacy phase is missing from two games so far...

I don't know what leaders want or say... It's a messy, I was hoping for a random bug the first time, but the next game was the same... Anyone has the same issue? Beacause it's very annoying and i have payed for a playable game... Maybe i need to download it again from steam??

You might be missing some files. Can you provide a screenshot?

I got in the german forum 2 reports about this too, that only the leader text is missing.
Seems only to happen after the patch was installed.

I installed the game a second time, now it's working fine, thanks...

i have the same problem but steam prevents me to install or uninstall it again
It just checks files for few seconds then stops .-.

Is it still installed?
Because then you can try to check the integrity of the files, this should fix the problem (will need a small download, as far as i know).

So I'm having this same problem. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled several times. Each time I attempt to play the game, I can't see anything that leaders are saying. This is when they are discussing anything. I don't use Steam to play the game. That didn't connect any of the other times either.

It's pretty annoying, but it doesn't stop me from playing the game. I have to just imagine what could've been said.

Any one have any other suggestions?

It could be language related, when God and Kings was still unreleased, I've noticed that pretty much any German screenshots had their diplo texts blank, nothing was in them. But then again, I think the leader was Bismarck.... dunno. either way, the only thing that would be difficult to know is when they are asking you for favours/DoF agreements.
