Gameplay-Enhancing Mod "Echoes of History" for Civilization VII – Epics Reborn, Echoes Unbroken!

#Design Goals

"Build an empire to stand the test of time"—but make it more fun, more dynamic, and beyond your imagination!
In Civilization VII, the Age Transition is a core experience—yet the "sense of legacy" often feels lacking. Once you enter a new Age, your previous Civilization leaves behind only a handful of (often inconsistent in power) Unique Traditions. This falls far short of what we imagine!
To address this, Echoes of History not only enriches gameplay within each Age but also strengthens the lasting impact of your choices across Ages. Staying true to the game's original design philosophy, I add ( 5×the number of Unique Civics) brand new Policies for each Civilization. In each playthrough, you’ll randomly unlock (number of Unique Civics + number of Unique Masteries) of them. My goal is to showcase each Civilization’s diversity and depth throughout history, expanding strategic possibilities and making every game feel fresh.
This is a massive undertaking for a solo modder, so I’ll be rolling it out gradually—starting with the Antiquity Age. That’s why your feedback is invaluable! Share your thoughts in the comments—everything is open for discussion: mechanics, balance, depth, even flavor! I aim for weekly updates, including balance adjustments for previously released Civilizations.

#Mechanics
Discovery
Completing a Unique Civic (including Mastery), and pick one of three random Echoes of History Policy.
Inheritance
On the first turn of a new Age, a Narrative Event triggers, allowing you to carry over all previously acquired Echoes of History Policies.

I'm very impressed by this mod, it has a lot of creativity, and is very fun, opening up a lot of new ways to play. There are some things that could be a bit more readable however, like adding a unlockable to the civics trees to show you can choose a new tradition from it. Would you be open to contributors, and I can have a go fixing it?
