Hey,
I just had an idea for a small mod and I thought I'd post it to see if anyone wanted to do it. I'm currently busy with the WH mod, so...yeah. Anyways, think it would be possible to make it so that you could spread certain resources (animals and plants) could be spread to other locations somehow? Like a horse breeder or a swineheard.

I mean wheat and cows and horses aren't native to the USA, but now it's one of the world's biggest producers.

I think this would involve changing the improvements system in the game so that you can build pastures/farms/wineries/etc if you had access to them from a trade agreement. Good idea!
 
Maybe pastures/farms on the "natural" locations for resources would give the extra money/food/production while resources that were spread only give access to the resource. There would have to be some benefeit for having more than one of each resource (besides trading). Ideas any1?

It's quite easy. There are buildings in the game that produce certain resources i.e. Broadway or Hollywood (that produce hit musicals and hit movies). All you need to do is to create a new building, let's say a "horse stable" or a "pig sty" that would require horses or pigs. Then horse stables would provide horses and pig sties pigs. These buildings could be national wonders.
