As we know this year has been very hot in the terms of foreign policy all over the world, therefore i have an idea.
The scenario would be based on 2007 on onwards. The main focus would be on Eastern Europa and Eastern Asia. The map would be only about these area leaving out the rest. There would be following countries:
1.
Russian Federation - would have also Caucasus were Russia has problems which Chencnya.
2.
United States of America - only strongholds on South Korea and some military bases in Japan, owns Iraq, yet very powerful nation.
3.
United Nations - world organization with a military base in South Korea, weak in diplomacy diplomacy, has weak army though.
4.
Peoples Republic of China - big as usual, but very independent and moody.
5.
European Union - some cities in Europa when the map would be focused on Asia, has powerful economy and army.
6.
NATO - military bases in Afganistan, powerful army.
7.
Iran - Middle East superpower in contrast to Israel, has lots of problems with USA, Israel. Has the Russian support.
8.
South Korea - trying to build normal society, economy strong and wealthy, yet their northern brother is forcing to build bigger and powerful army.
9.
North Korea - the last Stalinistic state of Earth, behind in technologically but big in numbers, building nuclear programme and trying to save the economy from collapsing, possible expansion towards South Korea.
10.
Israel - powerful in military and diplomacy, has problems with Syria, Lebanon (often makes air strikes to terrorist camps), Iran and Palestine.
11.
Palestine - small and weak yet fanatical and eager to get their state.
12.
Syria -with a hairy hand screwing Israel as much as possible.
13.
United Kingdom - Singapure military base, massive modern fleet and high tech army.
14. Lebanon - weak and unstabile country where Syria builds influence and creates diversion operations to israel.
15.
Estonia - having troubles with Russia, ecnomical fight between Estonia ad Russia - oil, coal transit issue.
16.
Latvia - having troubles with Russia, possible NATO base, Russia is angry because of that.
17.
Japan - in the middle of cat political fight, trying to build wealthy economy but North Korea makes it impossible as its military is getting bigger and bigger.
18.
Chechnya - civil-war with Russia, lots of sabotages and terrorism.
19. Can chage Chechnya out for
India ?
Main problems and areas where to play and let the fantasy flow - Israel problem,
Chechnya problem, North Korea case, Chinese econnomical expansion, Iraq war, Afganistan problem, Russian economical tricks over Europe, Japan problem - being a meat between a hamburger

.
Also small nations struggle between superpowers - Estonia, Chechnya, Lebanon, Latvia, Palestine. Can they keep their suveranity and/or build small yet defensive army against agression?
The map would have 2 new resources such as -
GAS (Mainly Russia) and
HEROIN (Afganistan).
The map would have also new tile improvements -
GASPIPE,
OILPIPE (expensive to build, can be destroyed explodes with a flame),
demilitarized zone - as a wall with towers (can be see on Israel-Palestina and South-North Korea borders),
terrorist camp - can train terrorists - (fanatic resistance unit),
railway road transit - can earn big money when u have such railway road on year territory, can export oil via it.
Would have new flags all the countries which have not had their own flags in MaxRiga scenarios. Also some special new units:
1. Chehnya -
partisans
2. Iran -
Scub rocket system
3. North Korea -
Choson tank (Chiese Type 99),
fanatic infantry for modern infatry,
Daebong ballistic rocket for cruise missile.
4. Palestine -
suicide bomber
5. Estonia -
Estonian Defence League soldier partisan
6. Latvia -
Latvian Homeguard soldier partisan
7. Japan -
high-tech soldier - expensive but strong specialized unit
8. Israel -
Israel infantry (high tech, expensive),
neutron bomb (kills all alive keeps buildings and improvements untouched (very expensive weapon, fallout cleaning long)
New leaders:
1. Estonia - Andrus Ansip or Toomas Hendrik Ilves,
2. Latvia - Aigars Kalvītis or Valdis Zatlers,
3. USA - G.W.Bush,
4. RF - V.V.Putin,
5. UN - Ban Ki-moon,
6. China - Hu Jintao,
7. EU - José Manuel Barroso,
8. NATO - Jaap de Hoop Scheffer,
9. Iran - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,
10. South Korea - Roh Moo-hyun,
11. North Korea - Kim Yong-il,
12. Israel - Shimon Peres,
13. Palestine - Yasser Arafat,
14. Syria - Bashar al-Assad,
15. UK - Tony Blair,
16. Lebanon - Émile Lahoud,
17 Chechnya - Ramzan Kadyrov,
18. Japan - Shinzo Abe.
19. India - if Chechnya is taken out - Manmohan Singh,
20. Pakistan - if EU is taken out - Pervez Musharraf.
The map would use all the previous MaxRiga units ad game style.
Please give feedback about this idea. I hope MaxRiga creates such it would be another fine add to his already made scenarios.
