>unfortunately i will not be able to change the stuff with f117

OK, the next suggestion: make F117 the same strength / bombing capability / range as B52 / Tu-95 (which is plenty) but add the stealth bonus, at least 50% EP. That should be quite an upgrade in the usability of the unit but would keep the F117 a bit closer to reality.

Concerning that 1st bug: do the Russians have some "Apollo program" tech in the beginning?

2nd: Hagia Sofia is a world wonder, so that must be a bug. I can remember Special Forces School needing an academy in the town, so maybe this is just mixed up?

Jamman,

the Eurofighter is included in 5.3. The M1 based on Challenger? Is so it would be very loosely. The M1 armor is surely unique and the battle value of modern equipment strongly depends on the electronics. I'm sure they differ here. And the speed with which you can move a tank through terrain does not only depend on the maximum speed you can reach in some test. And giving a main battle tank less/more movement than the others might be quite game-breaking. It would be a heavy modification. Now all (modern) tanks are quite close in their properties, which is good IMO.

About bug nr1
I checked in the civilopedia, and i couldn't find the Apollo Program as a tech, thats probably the bug

I also checked the Special forces bug and its the unit, not the building that requires Hagia Sophia

I also think that the new russian (First on launched on april 15 2007) nuclear submarine, the Borei Class should be added to the game, as a tech 5 sub.

to MrSpadge
I'm still thinking about f117
M1A1 Abrams are not based on any other models and it's the best modern tank in the mod ( str 43, chalenger and t90 - 42 )

about the bugs
I have no idea why it's happaning but damn Apollo damands it self but Special forces units demands Hagia Sophia. Can't find how to fix it, it is not XML!

Nice! What's that cannon symbole which the battleship and transport have? Some ranged bombarding in BTS?

MrS

This symbol means - blockade, now u can blockade ports in BTS so during war time your enemies can't have international trades through ports.

The screens were permanently made because i'm working on absolutely new scaling for all units and some resources. I really get pissed on this huge units that bigger then cities. All scaling now will be 2 times smaller that makes the game looks more serious. Uploading new screen. I might be able to release beta2 very soon ( I want to do it before the next civ4 bts patch will be released ).

2- New Modern Infantry Unit as UU for the USA
3- HMS Warrior as UU Ironclad for the UK

2- Artillery 15 ( was 18 )

MrSpadge
You're right
the tanks aren't based on each other and are uniquely different
I do however stand by what I said with the challenger 2 being stronger, it is currently being fitted with a Rheinmetall L55(stands for calibire, so 55 calibire or 6.6 metres) smoothbore gun(main gun) which in contrast is more powerfull then the M1A1 or A2 which is fitted with a 120 mm M256 Smoothbore Gun, which is about 44 calibires or 5.28 metres.
The Main Body armour is Chobham(used by both tanks) except the fact that the challenger 2 uses a new model of Chobham armour which is still classified.

I will however agree on the fact that the challenger 2's predecessor the challenger was weaker.

Caliber is the inner diameter of a gun or cannon. The 6.6 and 5.28 meters seems to refers to the length of the barrel, which is not that important. Of course in theory it can give you a higher range, but I think turret speed, accuracy, electronics and penetration capability of the projectiles are more important than the length. Also note that in the challenger 2 wiki they say it uses a rifled L30 120mm main gun (120mm is standard for todays MBTs), which is unique among the NATO MBTs. Other tanks have a smooth barrel. It may just be that this different barrel type may require them to make it longer. Or is L30 the old one and they're changing to a smooth barrel L55 now?

"Chobham" generally refers to a composite armor, likely using some ceramics in a metal matrix. In the wiki on Chobham they say that early M1 seemed to use Aluminum, but now it seems to be silicon carbide, which to my knowledge is the hardest stuff you can get, right after diamond. Makes the armor very strong but also very exepensive to replace.

hello
you don't need no copy scenarios to public maps folder, you can lunch it from mod's directory, simply double click on it.
any way, if it will not work out too, plz, make me screen

Yeah I already tried without copying the file's but it still won't work. Can you tell me how to take a screenshot so I could post it here??

A longer barrel leads to a higher speed and therfore a higher armour penetration, (+25% against armor?)
Of course in modern days this does not mean as mutch as it ones did, but it stills hava an inpact

great idea though, I also think that the Challanger 2 should have do a little more damage then the M1A2, but that the M1A2 should be more moverable.

PS: Wiki is made up from articles puplished by users, and is therefor highly inrelaieable, I dont know any but try to find another site. Might be hard but it will make your arguments "worth" more, if you had a better source.

Anyway Great mod and have nothing against the job and ideas you guys are compiling
These were some ideas that have come to mind and i thought i dhould get them off my chest and raise my opinion
James

P.S. Thanks for agreeing tibre

Is the BtS 2001 scenario functional for this mod? I remember the vanilla version was full of bugs thats why i stopped playing it.

On 2001 vanila version the nastiest bug I remember was not being able to kill or catch spies. I had the counter spies it had no effect, so enemy spies kept destroying the very valuable uranium and oil resources :(

BtS: What happened to the units ? I can't even see them. The idea to make them more realistic is good but you went to far. They should be maybe just a tad smaller then the standard ones. Ships especially are tiny, I think even planes are bigger.

in vanilla counter spies allow you to see other spies, not eliminate it ( there is no such option in civ4 )

in bts u have to get used to the new scaling
