[MOD] MaxRigaMod - video+1901-1941-1961-2001 scenar.

I have provided the photos in the unit suggestions section so hopefully a unit creator sees what I have provided and decides to create those two. I was also thinking of an Avenger SAM and its Chinese counterpart but can't find any good schematics of the Humvee with the Avenger SAM parts. I forgot the code contributors as well for sections of your mod scenarios. Oh, well I belatedly add them in now. By the way I was just keeping you up to date. Consider it my contribution to your mod since I am not a coder, or a unit creator myself. ;-) Healz.
 
Would you like me to create some vids for you? I have the software, and I can find what ever video you need online.
 
im wondering how do people play this with the current production speeds? As Japan it is gonna take me like 200 turns to make a tank.
 
Hi Man, long time I didnt wrote within this threat, about 24 sites :crazyeye: , so i played your new 5.1 version and the scenarios They are now no more playable with this " 1Worker for 1Improvement " thing.:rolleyes: :blush: :rolleyes:

bad to ur Japan ;) last time i was playing by Japan on normal speed 1961 scenario and whole China was mine at late 70's !

Hope I will see an 5.2 Version soon ...

I know this isnt an issue with your scenario but with civ4 itself but i dont like how the points for each civ is decided. For instance in that latest screenshot the Arabs have the 4th most points, way ahead of Nato even. But in this scenario I'm sure Nato would beat Arabia easily because of their technological advantage. Quite simply, Arabia has so many points because of its territory so its really difficult to say that they're the 4th best in this scenario

well, i agree and disagree :)
in the screen u have mentioned arabia on the 4th place ( and china 3rd ) because of my support all during the game. this countries are big and powerful, even more then NATO ( i crushed it in late 60's in my game, so, just 4 cities left for NATO ).
and yes, technological advance must count more points then cultural, so diplomacy screen can show up real power/technology situation of the countries.
 
I downloaded the 35MB mod please tell me where I extract it to ? What file in Civ 4? Also do you need "Warlords" to play it? I have 1.52 Patch installed.

there are signs everywhere ( u can find the links on my mod )- no warlords :)
this is for civ4 - patch 1.61
u must put my mod into Civilization4/Mods folder and any of my scenarios to - Civilization4/PublicMaps folder
 
Max Forgive an old man but I created a file in MODS named MaxRiga and extracted all the files to that one. When I clicked on the scenario a message came up " Mods\MaxRigaMod| is an invalid directory. I don't see any files called assets etc. How and where do I extract the mod to? I just don't want to put a 1500 files into the Mod folder all spread our and mixed with the other mods.-All the other mods have their own folder under Mods. Please advise what to do now? Do I just put the Zipped file into the Mod folder-will that work?

OK I now see where you have it inside of MODs with a yellow folder named MaxRigaMod. I assume I need to make this folder myself and extract your mod files to it. I hope so because if it is not so How do you get the folder MaxRigaMod created there is no such folder in your zipped file. I will give it a try.
YOUR KIDDING RIGHT???? I GUESS IT WORKS BECAUSE I LOADED ALL THREE SCENARIOS AND THEY START IN jAN. 41 61 AND 2001. HOWVER THERE ARE NO CITIES AND ONE CAN ONLY SEE A SMALL PATCH OF SOMEPLACE. WHEN YOU BUILD THE FIRST CITY IT IS NAMED WASHINGTON. THIS TELLS ME THAT IN THOSE YEARS NO CITIES ARE BUILT IN THE WORLD AND NOONE KNOWS WHAT EXISTS JUST UP THE ROAD. THOSE ARE NOT MODERN SCENARIOS THEY ARE JUST WORLD STARTING SCENARIOS WITH MODERN UNITS.
THAT IS NOT WHAT IS WAS LOOKING FOR I WANTED TO START IN THE MODERN WORLD WITH ALL KNOWN CITIES ETC. LIKE IS WAS 1941 ETC. NOT 5000BC WITH MODERN UNITS. BEATS ME WHY EVERYONE THINKS THESE ARE GREAT SCENARIOS?

its obvious you havent installed the mod properly

I created a file MaxRigaMod in the MOD directory and extracted the files to that file . That is what MaxRiga showed me with the picture of what the Mods dir. should look like. If you can spell it out to an old man in English of what to do I will give it another try. I am not a computer Gru.
