Mod problems

Hi I uninstalled a mod but now many things in my game are still not what there supposed to be. For instance my social polices now go up 10% with each new founded city, each city i found increases unhappiness by 2.4, and great generals only can be got from experience from ranged units. I already tried to uninstall the game and that didn't work are there any other ways to get the game back to how it should be?

Have you tried to manually clean the mods folder?
It should be somewhere in Documents\My Games\Civ5.

I just try ed to clean out the folder and it didn't work, but i did some playing around with the game and found out the changes only happen when the map is large or bigger. So i guess i will just play on standard size maps.
