Mod to disable selected civs from appearing in the game

In Civ V, there was the Really Advanced Setup mod, which allowed one to choose which leaders would be available to be randomly-selected for the game.

The only thing I've found along these lines for Civ VI is a mod called Remove Vanilla Leaders: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/remove-vanilla-leaders.612335/

It looks to be intended for use with custom leaders, since it removes all the vanilla leaders. Hypothetically, one could alter this file to remove only the leaders/civs one didn't want to see in the game.

I tried dropping the mod in my Steam Workshop mod folder, but the game hasn't recognised it. I don't know whether that's because I'm doing something wrong, or whether it's because the mod hasn't been updated since 2017 and doesn't work with current versions of the game.

The leaders/civs of the more recent expansions are missing.

Not sure what needs to be done to get it working.
 
I think I've found a mod that can do it!

It removes all the vanilla Leaders, so if one tries to create a game using the mod - with no mod Leaders loaded - then there will be no available civilizations to use when trying to create a game.

I've therefore deleted from the mod file all the Leaders I want to keep, leaving only those I want to remove, and these civilizations are now not appearing on the list when creating a game. So it looks to have worked. I will report back if I come across any issues.

The file that needs editing in Notepad - there are only two files in the mod - is the SQL file "OnlyModLeadersMenu", which, when opened, looks like this:
