nobodies business if i win or lose, i don't agree to have my private statistics viewable to other people.

how do i make the game not send this info to steam? or deny others from seeing my statistics?

I just don't feel it's anybodies business what happens in my games, whether i win or lose etc.

i have lost several games on "purpose" by playing to screw around and not playing to win, because of this i appear to be a scrub who famously lost the korea scenario multiple times by not playing to win and i don't want my stats to be borked over by these games.

My woman saw my hours played when i alt tabbed to steam from an MMO and she said things like...
for example, "whats the point in building cities just to conquer the world?"
"Why play this mmo if there is no last boss and you can never win and can be killed by grief players?"

one day i said

"why go to work just to make more money for my boss than i will ever see, dealing with grief workers and customers knowing i will never win, kill them all or rule the world?"

she finally got it.

I live in fear that my wife will see the Steam ap open one day: "hours played: ####"...

845

Although, to be fair, about half of that is just leaving the game running while doing other things or modding.

In reply to the OP: I'm 99% sure that this isn't moddable. Steam integration is hardcoded into the executable. You can, however, go to your community page in steam, click "edit profile" and set it to "private", which means nobody can see your stats if I understood it correctly. Or you can set it to show it only to people on your friend list, which is what I do.

ah, okie - that helps then.

I tend to NOT finish games, leave games AFK for long periods while i do other things, and half the time im not actually trying to do anything than see "how many diety mode wonders before somebody gets sick of it and sacks me?"

I recently calculated that this could create the false appearance that im a terrible player with like 5 wins and 180 losses with 400 unfinished games. but this is ok for me, though i would like the ability to reset my stats if nothing else.

Were are these stats (wins/lose/...)? I can only see achievements?
