Again! after a big asset error that compelled me to create a new mod project. Asset Editor which once worked well went nuts today.

This is what happens

And this is my setting

I've installed games on D: so to act as a failsafe if something goes wrong on drive C. I'm not sure i've done it correctly but I also have SDK Assets as well.

Your PC seems to look for the SDK Assets in a completely different folder than you have set it. You could try to edit the path in regedit manually...but dont know if this would help, plus its not without a risk to make a terrible wrong edit to the registry.

Where in regedit should I look for and what are configs that has to be done? I have do to this with different associating mod tools.

And is this associated with Asset Editor instability when adding new assets to mods and asset browsing can crash the program completely

It seems so. For the regedit attempt, as i said i got no idea whether this would help, but if you want to try that, then look at my make a new unit tutorial here in the tutorials section, and there you can find how to set up the civ 5 path at least, for civ6 asset editor it could be similar, but i dont know. Never had that problem. Just trying to help but with no idea whats wrong in your configuration.

Okay, its been a while since i was last time reading it. then it was in my Wonder tutorial. But i think i cannot help you, it was just a idea. so you need to figure out yourself how to fix your problem.

cool! You got it working now.

Although it would be good to hear what exactly you did to solve the problem.
