Good show as always. I'm surprised that as young as you guys are you remember Wing Commander! Born and bred on computer games I guess! Wing Commander: Privateer was one my favorite games from that era.

Good show as always. I'm surprised that as young as you guys are you remember Wing Commander! Born and bred on computer games I guess! Wing Commander: Privateer was one my favorite games from that era.

Well at least in my case I didn't play those games in their year of release.
I think I played WC2 in 1995. WC1 only last year or so, acquired from some abandonware site. And the original Privateer I never played, but there's this awesome remake which I did play! I suggest you check it out if you want to reexperience the story with I assume better AI and graphics:

Though I just read that version may not work anymore on newer computers. It's a finished product, but the file is three years old.

Wow, that's quite a find. Thanks Maniac. Does it still have that storyline where that crazy killer drone is following you all over the galaxy? That thing was pretty scary...
