i have a modded seperatist unit which has hidden nationality.if i used it to attack a city and capturing it,wud my rep be hitted?

I believe not....DyP has/had this in 1.50 or 2.02, and you were able to capture cities. I don't recall a rep hit, but it's been so long since I played DyP....

It's working as intended in ptw. The AI can do that as well.

However, it's in general a bad idea to include HN land units, the AI goes absolutely nuts about them: They build nothing else, and the permanently attack each others and capture their Workers back and forth. As a result, the game becomes a cakewalk for the human.
And, HN or Invisible land units cause the game to hang when they move next to automated Workers.

In short: We had them in DyP. They do exactly what you want them to do, but complete kill off the game as well. Drop the idea :(

What a pity. I guess HN/Invisible only works with water-based units and whatnot.

I always make HN units. I steal France's musketeer UU and turn it into the unit "Pirate" (I only have vanilla civ and real modding is too confusing for me). It has defense points, bombard, and pillage. It has no attack points, so you cant use it to attack. Its sweet.

While I agree, a unit without an Attack point won't cause that many troubles, what is the AI Straetegy for this? I mean, true, this unit isn't really overpowered, but still 'Human Only'.... :(

Of course, this is also true for Explorers (and all units with the 'Explore' flag only...)
