This is the furthest modders have ever had to take Civilization in any release, and it's impressive to see the work everyone is doing

Its good to hear that. It means that modding possibilities are there, available to explore and tweak. It makes me optimistic about the development of Civ 7 in the future

Yes, it is impressive. But it's also infuriating that they are not really MODIFYING the game, but essentially just doing unpaid work for Firaxis making the game actually playable.

It's truly unfortunate... They accomplished so much in such a brief span, all without any documentation or support from the devs, mastering everything from the ground up.
