A couple questions in order of (personal) importance.

1. In BTS 3.17, corporation upkeep was reduced, making them more valuable. In the present version of Next War, the upkeep is at the old crippling levels. I'd like to import the 3.17 patch changes to Next War: how can I do that? Is it in the XML, and if so, which files? (If it's Python, I haven't a clue how to fix that, but I can do cut and paste XML work.)

2. Next, I'd like to use a graphics mod like Cultural Diversity or Varitas Delectat. How would I go about merging Next War and a graphics mod?

3. Assuming the above two can be done, I want to add some custom civs. Standard operating procedure still holds, right? (Add modules folder, add custom civs folder, add the civs, then enable modular loading)

This is funny because I too am making a mod in which I'd like to do those things. Too bad the only people replying in this thread are, well, us. Anyone know how to do this stuff?

I think strategyonly has a Next War expanded mod. Maybe he knows how to do this stuff. Another thing I thought of doing was using the flag style from Final Frontier for the future era in Next War. Is this possible? And if so, how?

I like to do those things too, PLUS remove those next war leaders (like Mr. Big His Excellency etc0

:bump:
Tholish answers that here. I'd suggest downloading Notepad+ (it's free) and it saves in XML. Alternately, just delete the Next War civs from the CivInfos file. Tholish's method is better if you want to restore the civs later.

I have experimented with adding modular civs to Next War. Yes, SOP applies. However, I could only get one to work at any given time. More than one, the game crashed about halfway through map generation. Don't know how to fix that, and I did get these modules to work with Cultural Diversity previously, so I doubt it is the modules themselves.

Can't answer the FF flag question ... ought to be possible, but I'm not sure.
